German-Indian Frank Schlichtmann is a film maker, journalist and travel guide. He has spend his life evenly between the East and the West. Frank started the production company NoMob/Action in Hamburg, Germany in 2003 and directed Tea & TATA, 2000 Kilometer India and Fuer einen Handvoll Zucker. He settled in Phnom Penh in January 2005 and founded Footsteps Productions to work as a film director and producer. Apart from Films, Frank is a journalist for Die Tageszeitung, Berlin and The Globe, Phnom Penh. He also travels extensively around Central, South and South-East Asia accompanying European travel groups for the largest German study tour company, STUDIOSUS Tours. Frank is currently
living between Siem Reap, Cambodia, and Dharamsala, North India. He has a
wife and a baby.
