The films (…) produced for us were of excellent standard and are being used by us and our partners for different purposes related to our work as one of the leading technical assistance organizations in Cambodia. They have been extremely useful for promoting understanding towards the topics that were handled in the films as well as to document and evaluate the work we have done in the related fields.

Mr. Schichtmann immediately understood the unique aspect of the performance and suggested a personal, very sensitive approach. He managed to make a documentary that was not only very moving, but also intelligent, informative and deeply humane.  I personally saw the movie several times with the same pleasure and emotionality, and screened it to different audiences in Cambodia and Europe with the same result.

The final product is an excellent documentary of which Mr. Schlichtmann took care of all aspects dealing with pre-production, filming and post-production…

Frank Schlictmann and his company, Footsteps Productions, were our Cambodian fixers for a 3 week shoot in November 2007 for FAMILY FOOTSTEPS SERIES 2 for ABC.  Frank provided all initial liaison and research prior to our Director’s arrival for the recce.  They spent a week together on the recce locking in locations, talent, mentors and logistics.  Frank then went on to organize filming permits, customs clearances and book all requirements prior to our arrival.

Frank himself was unable to be on the shoot but was most ably replaced by his assistant, who ensured that our requirements were met and our shoot went as smoothly as possible.

We were very pleased with the service provided and would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The (…) documentary (…) managed to capture not only the essence of the particular Trade Fair but also give the viewer an insight into the past and the future of the craft of silk-making as it is being revived since the sad events in recent Cambodian history
The film Cambodia's Golden Thread has been used by us as well as the Cambodian Silk Forum for a multitude of purposes and has been a great tool towards the promotion of Cambodian Silk in general and the work of our institution and the Cambodian Silk Forum in particular.
